My name is Dr. Kristofer J. M. Stubbs, and I have spent my career helping students and families make smart choices about education and the future. I’ve served as Executive Director of Admissions at a community college, where I guided thousands of students and parents through the admissions process, financial aid decisions, and college transitions. I also worked as a Director of an Early College High School, giving high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in school, saving both time and money.
In addition, I have led systems-level work as a Manager of Dual Enrollment and Homeschool Programs, creating clear pathways for students who wanted to get a head start on college or explore alternative learning options. In my current leadership role, I oversee districtwide programming that connects K–12 students with opportunities in college, career, and beyond.
Throughout these roles, I’ve seen the stress families face when trying to decide the “next step” after high school. I know how overwhelming it can be to balance dreams, finances, and real-world opportunities. That’s why I built The Next Step Playbook — to take the guesswork out of these decisions and to give families a simple, clear, and proven framework.
